Kimberley Spinger, Honoured Class of 2011
Kimberley Springer is a proud graduate of Crawford Adventist Academy where she attended from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12, graduating in 2011. During her years at Crawford, Kimberley developed a strong foundation of faith, leadership, and academic excellence that would guide her future pursuits.
Following high school, Kimberley continued her education and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology, Political Science, and Sociology in 2015. Driven by her passion for justice, advocacy, and community service she furthered her studies at Seneca Polytechnic where she achieved a Graduate Diploma in Paralegal Studies in 2017. She obtained professional designations as a licensed paralegal and notary public with the Law Society of Ontario.
Kimberley’s educational journey reflects her dedication, perseverance, and commitment to personal and professional growth. As a distinguished alumna of Crawford Adventist Academy, she continues to inspire current and future students through her accomplishments and example. Professionally, Kimberley currently supports the Executive Vice- president, General Counsel and legal team at Cadillac Fairview Corporation with a focus in commercial real estate, legal operations and board governance.
In 2024, Kimberley created The Springer Resilience Scholarship — a scholarship dedicated to students who demonstrate perseverance through personal hardship with cancer while continuing to pursue their education and support their community. More than grades or achievements, the scholarship recognizes character, courage, and the ability to keep moving forward when life becomes difficult. For Kimberley, the scholarship is deeply personal. It is a way of turning pain into purpose. Each year, when recipients hear their names announced, they are reminded that resilience matters. That their struggles do not go unseen. That difficult circumstances do not determine the limits of their future. Kimberley Springer’s story is not only about surviving hard times. It is about giving back to the very place that helped shape her and ensuring that the next generation of students knows they are never alone in their fight.
Through The Springer Resilience Scholarship, her family’s story continues to inspire hope, compassion, and strength — proving that even in life’s hardest chapters, something meaningful can grow.
