Your Contribution Will Make a Difference

Established by the original ‘Crawford Ballers’, the Ball for Education Scholarship initiative was launched in memory of two original ballers, Wayne Ambrose and Junior Lawrence.

For close to four decades, this group has been a part of Crawford Adventist Academy - providing a Christian outreach environment for men and women to play basketball. Since 1986, many men and women have joined them to have fun while establishing a legacy to positively impact many generations of young people to come.   Many of the players have since retired but still have the desire to be engaged in an initiative that encourages educational growth in our community.

With this in mind, we are pleased to share with you an opportunity to honour the mission and the memory of our beloved late Junior Lawrence and Wayne Ambrose through the Ball for Education Scholarship.  The scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student who
exemplifies the amazing qualities displayed by these two gentlemen.
