Kesean Kenton

2019 Alumnus of the Year
Kesean Kenton
Class of 2002

As a high school student, Kesean Kenton always had a plan and his plan was simple. “I always had a very good idea of what I wanted to do - finish high school, take some courses in graphics and art, work in the industry for a little then start my own business.”

In his senior year, Kesean took on student leadership roles serving as the Rau House Leader and Student Association – Newspaper Editor. In 2001, he also displayed his artistic vision and creativity through his paintings of the athletic figures on the gym walls where they remain today.

Following graduation from Crawford in 2002, Kesean pursued post-secondary studies in Digital Multimedia at Andrews University. He continued his studies in Graphic Design for Print & Web at the International Academy of Design & Technology, Toronto, ON. In the 2009-2010 academic year, Kesean returned to CAA in the capacity of Graphic Design teacher in the High School Division and continued to serve as Online MarketingConsultant until 2012.

Currently the Creative Director, ProtoImage Designs, he continues to remain closely involved with the design aesthetic of the CAA branding including past versions of the school website, promotional material and design and layout of ‘Visionary’ alumni magazine. His love for Crawford is reflected through his prioritization of urgent projects and the personalized customer service he offers consistently.

Passionate about giving youth a platform, he co-founded HEY Magazine, a publication to inspire and elevate the minds of young people. He also enjoys talking to young people and often gives back by returning to speak to our current students to share his experience in industry and entrepreneurship. Most recently, he participated in ‘Rebuilding the Brotherhood’, a one-day campus conference designed to engage and train our young men in Grades 8-12 to be their best version

In the 2001-2002 Trillium, Kesean thanked his parents for their sacrifice. He also thanked his teachers for teaching him perseverance. This same perseverance along with his passion drives him to inspire other young people, including our Crawford students.

In recognition of his ongoing commitment to excellence, dedication, love and support of Crawford Adventist Academy, we present to you the 2019 Alumni of the Year, Mr. Kesean Kenton
